MO'HITS to begin search for FIRST LADY!

MO'HITS,arguably the biggest music label in Nigeria looks to begin search for a first lady. Just a couple of weeks back, its most successful act Dbanj bagged up a rare collabo with renowned american rap king snoop dogg on the song endowed, with an impressive video to its credit.such collabo's i must say, dont come by easily. The addictive crisp clear musical video is currently enjoying airplay all over the world and at the moment ranked the best in nigeria.. Great work i must say! Well,if Don Jazzy's tweets are anything to go by,then you'll agree with me that "boys are still not smilling"., just two days back,MO'HITS President and CEO Don Jazzy overwhelmed my time line{TL} on twitter expressing his enthusiasm to begin the search for a DIVA.This is coming just days after he denied rumours of signing the multi talented south south hitmaker and self acclaimed porthacourt 1st-son(DUNCAN MIGHTY) as a sound instructor to the label.. He tweets"Nigerians anywhere in the world can participate.you basically upload a video of your self singing, rapping, dancingetc.we are also gonna be picking her full team from the competition too.eg PA,stylist, choreographer, dancers, backup singers, writers etc.She automatically becomes the biggest DIVA in AFRICA the day she wins''..sounds really cool to me.. Where are all my endowed gurls???? Full details are coming up pretty soon on www.mohitsrecords.com ##Oooshe!

from 'YORI YORI' to 'MUAH MUAH'

BRACKET is not an uncommon name to the nigerian music industry. The talented duo "smash and vast " (or coke and fanta as some would call them) who took nigerians by storm last year with their massive hit YORI YORI,is set for a come back. YORI YORI was a huge success and rose to become a popular slang in nigeria for a girl or woman. The album "least expected" became one of the highest sellling albums of last year ,taking them beyond the shores of this country.from africa to the uk, through south america, to the USA and so on..The album also featutred nigerian music stars like psquare, jmartins and also nigerian king of R&B 2FACE IDIBIA on the remix to their hit single YORI YORI.now who's bold enough to disagree that these boys are sure smiling to the bank. Just a few days after a successful concert in amsterdam,Holland.the YORI YORI stars who are under the label "Ape planet" are set to hit the airwaves again, this time with a brand new single titled "Muah Muah" ,billed to drop on the 20th of this month(march 2011)..hmmmmmm,well if you ask me,i'll say its a unique pick for a title..So all the YORI YORI 's out there, you better get ready for a 'Muah Muah! from BRACKET! #Ooshe!

An open letter to the PRESIDENT

Good day sir, I thank GOD that you made up your mind to contest in the 2011 presidential election. Your speech at your declaration was very inspiring. One of the issues that interested me most was your declared intention to create job opportunities for the teaming youths of this country(graduates), I want to make one or two suggestions on the ways i think you can achieve this objective. (1)the big players in the oil industry should build refineries all over the country within two years. After that, ban importation of refined petroleum products into this country.of course you already know the volume of jobs running these refineries will create in this country, and we would have enough petroleum products to use and for exports. (2)Ban the importation of generating sets.encourage companies in asia that produce these sets to start-up industries in nigeria.I know that within a short period of time, nigerian companies will learn to build generating sets.In any case, before then the investments you have been making in the power sector would have started making positive impacts, and in the long run nigerians will not need generating sets anymore as we'll have stable POWER SUPPLY. There are other issues but i'll wish to stop here for the moment. I wish you GOODLUCK as you handle the affairs of this country. You can count on my vote.thanks ...emeka obia
